Terms

These are the terms for using Tayside Property, and for estate agents who list homes on it. Last updated 5 October 2026.

Tayside Property is run by Dundee Promotions Limited, a company registered in Scotland (number SC827727), whose registered office is 4 Valentine Court, Dundee Business Park, Dundee DD2 3QB.

What we are

Tayside Property is a property search. We show homes for sale that estate agents and solicitor-agents send us. We are not an estate agent: we don't sell homes, value them or act for buyers or sellers. We're independent of TSPC, Rightmove, Zoopla, OnTheMarket and every agent.

For people looking at homes

  • Each listing comes from the agent marketing the home, who is responsible for it. We show what they send us and we can't check every detail. Before you act on a listing, confirm the details with the agent.
  • Prices, closing dates and whether a home is still available can change quickly, and an update can take a little while to reach us.
  • Don't copy listings from the site in bulk, or use automated tools to collect them, and don't try to disrupt the site.
  • Property alerts and My Tayside are free. See our privacy notice for what we keep and how to delete it.

For estate agents

  • Listing is free. There is no fee and no contract.
  • You may only send homes you have been instructed to market, with photos, floorplans, text and documents you have the right to use.
  • You keep ownership of everything you send. You allow us to show it on the site and in property alerts, and to resize photos and show them alongside your agency's name, phone number and a link to your own listing.
  • You're responsible for your listings being accurate and lawful, and for keeping them up to date: prices, closing dates, under offer and sold. Homes sent by your software or our plugin update by themselves.
  • We may decline or remove a listing, or an agency, that breaks these terms or that we reasonably believe is inaccurate or misleading.
  • You can stop at any time: tell us, or switch your feed off, and your homes come off the site the same day.
  • Details you give us to connect your property software are stored encrypted and used only to collect your listings.

Our responsibility

We work to keep the site accurate and running, but we provide it as it is and can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We aren't responsible for decisions made using listings sent to us by agents. Nothing in these terms limits any responsibility that can't be limited by law.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows when they last changed, and we'll tell agents by email about significant changes. These terms are governed by Scots law, and the Scottish courts deal with any dispute.
